About the talk:

Based on his 20 year experience of building, growing and investing in businesses, Rafał Styczeń shares the lessons he’s learnt along the way.

Rafał graduated in computer science at University of Science and Technology (AGH), Corporate Finance at the Warsaw School of Economics, as well as Graduate School of Business at Stanford University. He attended Minnesota State University’s MBA course code-shared with SGH in Warsaw and has over 15 years experience in information technology markets and 10 years in private equity investments in technology ventures.

In 1999, Rafał founded IIF S.A., leading venture capital firm in Poland, and has been its owner and manager the fund since incorporation. He was also the co-founder & manager of Comarch S.A. and acting CEO and Senior Vice-President between 1993-2000. From 2001-4, he founded and led BillBird S.A., the inventor and operator of the Moje Rachunki network.

Rafał Styczeń is board Chairman of Software Mind S.A. and board member at One-to-One S.A.

He runs a blog - rafalstyczen.tumblr.com - where he shares insight and thoughts on entrepreneurship.
