Videos > Ewa Sadowska - Creation of integration centers for intra-EU migrants

About the talk:

Ewa Sadowska’s childhood growing up in Barka communities and social enterprises established and developed by her parents in Poland gave her the grounding to set up Barka UK a charity that helps destitute Eastern European migrants in Western Europe create a dignified and valued future. She is now Chief executive of Barka UK, a charity whose mission is to provide severely excluded Eastern European migrants with an opportunity for education, employment and social and economic reintegration.

Ewa has a master’s degree in Ethno-Linguistics from Adam Mickiewicz University of Poznan, Poland and a postgraduate degree in Social Economy Management from the Warsaw University. In March 2008 the World Economic Forum announced Ewa Sadowska a Young Global Leader 2008.
