For us here in Kraków, the biggest event we look forward to every year is our own TEDxKraków in October. However, we may be a bit biased, as for the rest of the world the big event is the original TED Conference in California – which of course we’re psyched about too! So much so that once again we will be streaming an entire day of it live, just for you (and us, of course)!
What exactly is TEDxLive? It’s a local TEDx event created around the live webcast of the TED2013 Conference, which means that you will be watching every Talk live just as if you were in California (albeit with slightly more snow outside, we assume) from the comfort of the Pauza basement. TEDxKraków has an exclusive licence from TED to stream the event, which means you will get to see each Talk long before it’s uploaded to TED’s website and shared with the rest of the world.
During the event, we will be livestreaming Sessions 4, 5, 6 and 7, whose themes are Disrupt!, Dream!, Create! and Sustain! [insert starting times here!]
The entire theme of TED2013 is The Young. The Wise. The Undiscovered., and you can expect a good assortment of all three categories throughout the day. While there are far too many speakers to name, you can take a look at the official TED2013 program for more details.
TEDxKrakówLive 2013 will take place on 28 February at Klub Pauza downstairs, with the first session starting at 5:30 pm. Registration begins on Monday, 11 February, and we highly suggest you register as soon as possible and then show up early on the 28th to make sure you snag a good spot!
