About the talk:

Professor Paweł Moskal romps through a lesson in solid-state physics, atomic physics, nuclear physics and particle physics to explain how he and his team came up with a revolutionary idea for antimatter-based imaging system for the whole body.

Professor Moskal has been a Professor at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków since 2007 and works in the field of nuclear and particle physics. He won the Prime Minister award for his doctoral dissertation in 1999 and a Gold Medal for the invention of the matrix device for the Positron Emission Tomography at The World Exhibition on Innovation, Research and New Technologies at Brussels Innova 2009.
