TEDxKrakówCinema - a new initiative from TEDxKraków

We’ll be getting together to watch TEDTalks and TEDx talks and sharing the TED experience with Kraków

Each time we will focus on a different topic.

Why TEDTalks?

We’d like to create a comfortable space in Kraków for creative debates about the role of technology, education, human behaviour in creating a more harmonious future, where ideas are the source of intelligent and constructive collaboration rather than conflict.

This month

Travelling abroad, learning anything you want from online courses at anytime, working from anywhere... This is what some of us already take for granted. But if the world is a place with no boundaries any more, why don't we do what we really want to? Or at least, why are those who follow their dreams so rare?

What are our limits? Where do they come from? Is there a way to overcome them? Or maybe are there many different ways? And if everyone did what they really deamed of, how would it change us as a community?

The upcoming TEDxKrakówCinema will encourage you to answer these questions honestly. The meeting will be hosted by Agnieszka Żarnowska, a writer in the TEDxKraków team, who has prepared a few TED Talks by speakers who believe nothing is impossible.

TEDxKrakówCinema will take place on Tuesday 1 July at Pauza In Garden at ul. Rajska 12 (in the Małopolski Ogród Sztuki building).

Plase note it's the first time when the event will be held in a new place and make sure you don't go "automatically" to look for us at Floriańska Street! (just the latest limit we had to cross :).

We'll be meeting at 6.30 pm for icebreakers and TEDxKrakówCinema will start at 7 pm and finish at 8.30 pm. The discussion will continue over drinks from 8.30 pm. Come and join us!

Entry is free but space is limited, so be early to secure a seat.

The TED talks will be in English with Polish subtitles. The discussion will be held in Polish and English. If you have a problem with one language or another, no worries! Even if we can't guarantee you'll understand 100% (as we don't have simultaneous interpretation), we'll do our best to help you.
