Krakowski Teatr Tańca – Premiere of the Show “Polyamory”

Krakowski Teatr Tańca (Kraków Dance Theatre) is pleased to invite you to the premiere of the show “Polyamory” choreographed by Eryk Makohon. According to Deborah Anapol, an American clinical psychologist and one of the founders of the polyamory movement, which started in the 1980s., we need to let love shape our relationships rather than trying to force it into a mold that our mind consider “right”. Nowadays, at the beginning of the 21st century, it seems monogamy is rather a myth than a fact. The nuclear family, as the primary unit of society, belongs now to the endangered species. As Anapol suggests, today more than ever before, we need to get rid of our well versed beliefs about love, sex, intimacy and commitment in order to be ready to discover and accept all the possible solutions that just work…
The project is co-financed by the City of Kraków.

Krakow Technology Park - a meeting with Adam Karcz

The history of the Polish students losing their robot and almost failing during a competition organized by NASA went through the media all around the world as quick as a flash.

On the 24th of October in the Krakow Technology Park this story will be merely a pretext for a conversation with Adam Karcz - the leader of the students team from the Warsaw University of Technology. The team building a lunar robot called 'Husar' was awarded with the Perseverance Award. But the fact is that perseverance is not an exceptional attribute. It is essential.

Persistence and consistency are essential on the way to success. Same as teamwork and cooperation between business and science are crucial in developing new technologies.

The transfer of technology, the work standards at the world-class level, the problems of intellectual property and how to promote the development of enterprise in Polish universities will be the topics we will talk about in the Krakow Technology Park on the October 24th at 10:30.

Length: 2 h
Max participants: 50
When: 24th October (Thursday) 2013 10:30
Where: Krakow Technology Park
