Once again this year, we are organizing a TEDxKraków event centred on the TED Conference in California, which will take place from 25 February to 1 March this year. At TEDxKrakówLive 2013, we will be streaming a live webcast of the entire third day of the event, which means that you will be watching every Talk live just as if you were in California, but from the comfort of the Pauza basement. TEDxKraków has an exclusive licence from TED to stream the event, so you will get to see each Talk long before it’s uploaded to TED’s website and shared with the rest of the world.

The theme of TED2013 is The Young. The Wise. The Undiscovered. But what does this year’s theme really mean? Here’s what the folks at TED themselves had to say about it: “The best moments at TED have often come from unexpected places. But this year, we're pushing that to a new level. This past spring, we staged a global talent search to bring together the most remarkable lineup in TED's history. A series of TED salons in 14 cities around the world helped us discover a broad array of thinkers and doers, and a selection of them have been invited to California in February 2013 to share their work with the world, as part of an extraordinary roster of speakers and performers.”

During TEDxKrakówLive 2013 we will be livestreaming Sessions 4, 5, 6 and 7, whose themes are Disrupt!, Dream!, Create! and Sustain!, and you can expect a good assortment of young, wise and undiscovered speakers throughout the day. While there are far too many speakers to name them all, you can take a look at the official TED2013 program for more details.

TEDxKrakówLive 2013 will take place on 28 February at Klub Pauza downstairs, with the first session starting at 5:30 pm. Registration begins on Monday, 11 February, and we highly suggest you register as soon as possible and then show up early on the 28th to make sure you snag a good spot!
