Why TEDTalks?

We’d like to create a comfortable space in Kraków for creative debates about the role of technology, education, human behaviour in creating a more harmonious future, where ideas are the source of intelligent and constructive collaboration rather than conflict.

This month

It's a New Year so we discussed New Year's resolutions and listened to two talks, inspiring and cautionary, about why and how to make changes. What does it mean that we want to change and improve? How and what are you intending to change in 2012? What were your resolutions?

At January's TEDxKrakówCinema we looked at whether it makes sense to make new year resolutions at all and if it does, what can we do to make sure they are fulfilled. The lively debate covered what holds us back, cultural differences to aspiration and whether a disadvantaged start to life is actually the best motivator to succeed. Most of the discussion was in Polish, but some English speakers made their contributions in English.
