Why TEDTalks?

We’d like to create a comfortable space in Kraków for creative debates about the role of technology, education, human behaviour in creating a more harmonious future, where ideas are the source of intelligent and constructive collaboration rather than conflict.

This month

How does technology affect our lives, relationships and our future? We have to admit that our audience had a very strong IT and technical background so they were already very familiar with technology. On the whole, we were optimistic about the role of technology in our lives and the possibilities it offers, although there was a concern the sheer amount of it and more importantly, how our privacy is being threatened both while we’re alive and (more concerningly!) after we’re dead.

We talked about the “T” of TED – Technology and how it affects our lives, relationships and our future. Some people pointed out how dangerous and invasive the new technology might become and we debated what can happen to our identity after we are dead and what role technology could play then.
